Protection Abandoned Cats & Kittens. The animal shelter P.A.C.K. in Polop (20 mins. to Benidorm, 15 mins. to Alfaz del Pi, 5 mins to La Nucia) is in desperate need of volunteers. This animal shelter has at this moment, 130 cats and 40 dogs. Although the name suggests it is only for cats, the shelter also takes care of abandoned dogs. Want to know more?
