Benidorm is the home of the only traditional type theme park on the Costa Blanca.
Terra Mitica is just a few minutes drive from the hotels of Benidorm, most of which will arrange for you to join one of the daily arranged trips to the park. You are collected by a coach and delivered home exhausted at the end of the day. The queues are not as big as the parks in the USA or Madrid and Barcelona. The park is split into 4 ancient worlds Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Ancient Egypt, and Ancient Spain, each has a series of rides from gentle through to white knuckle. The rides include a real wood roller coaster, and several state of the art steel roller coasters. The park has restaurants and bars in every "world" (they even serve beer). There are the usual themed shops at the end of each big ride, and photos are taken on about 6 of the rides for you to buy. If you like collecting photos of your rides it is a good idea to invest in a multi-picture pass. There is plenty of car parking, and busses run to the main town in the area, the bus stops right beside the ticket booths. Open from the end of March through to end of September, plus peak times in October, November and December. Telephone +34 902 020 220 To check the current opening hours and prices visit their website by clicking here - Terra Mitica If you are driving: From any of the coastal towns you can take either the N332 coast road, or the AP7 (Toll) Motorway to Benidorm. The park is very well posted from both roads.
