Local Market La Cala Villajoyosa

This local market la Cala is best known for the fresh foods and the second-hand clothing stalls. Many people confuse the location of this market with Finestrat. Because the street, where the lowest part of the market starts, is part of Villajoyosa. However, the roundabout that connects to this road and the beach on the other side belong to Finestrat.  

You can walk around the market and look at all the new and second-hand goods they sell. And afterward, you can go down to the beach to enjoy the bars and restaurants that surround this Cala. When you go in summer you can bring your towels and a bathing suit and have an afternoon at the beach after your visit.

The tram-via stops at the shopping centre of Finestrat. From there it is a 2-kilometre walk to the local market la Cala. Therefore, the best way to go there is by car, as there is plenty of parking space around.

If you prefer to come by bus there are different bus lines to choose from. When you come from the centre of Benidorm bus 2 brings you nearby. And when you want to go there from the main bus station its best to take line 3.
