Teulada Moraira is a municipality located in the province of Alicante with easy access from the N332 or from the AP-7 motorway, at exit number 63. It is 120 km from Valencia and just 80 from the city of Alicante. Its optimal communication allows you to reach the municipality directly by car, bus (Alicante-Valencia line) or train (Denia-Alicante line).
It currently has around 14,000 inhabitants. It has a Mediterranean climate and the average temperature of 18ºC throughout the year. With an altitude of 185 m above sea level, 8 km of coastline and a total area of 32 km2, this municipality has two urban centres, Teulada and Moraira.
In Moraira, a fishing village, life is governed by the sea. In Teulada, located in the interior 8 kilometres from the coast, the historical heritage marks the rhythm with the walled Gothic Teulada and the Vicentina Route. Two cores and one locality that perfectly combine sea and mountains.
The rest of the municipal area boasts a magnificent urban planning developed in a horizontal manner, thus configuring a garden city characterized by single-family homes that serve to welcome both residents and the many visitors who come here to spend their vacations.
Teulada Moraira has a rich natural, historical, monumental and artistic heritage that reveals an image of vegetation and vineyards bathed by the brilliant blue of the Mediterranean Sea. Beaches, coves, hiking trails, fortress, watchtower, churches, hermitages, sea and mountains are some of the things you can find in this paradisaical town of the Valencian Community. In addition to traditional festivals, markets, a great culture and good Mediterranean cuisine.
