It is a gorgeous natural sight and a must-visit place during your stay. These waterfalls are breathtaking in summer. There is a restaurant close to the entrance if you get hungry, or thirsty. As well, there is allowed to bring your own picnic basket which many choose to do. Just be sure to clean up after yourself properly.

It is a private area, so there will be a smaller entrance amount charged to enter the Algar waterfalls.

Relax at the beaches

As we already mentioned, Spain is famous for the beaches. The name of Costa Blanca has a reason. There are small beaches with white rocks which are ideal for lazy sunbathing. Your tour can not be complete without paying a visit to the serene beaches.

Then again, you have the beaches in Benidorm and Alicante, and the surrounding areas, which are far more crowded. These are considered to be some of the best places with beaches in Spain, so if you do not mind a larger crowd of people, stop by.

Hiking in the natural parks

Hiking and mountain climbing in Costa Blanca is a hit tourist activity in Spain. It is famous due to the perfect weather conditions in this part of the world. The Serra Gelada natural park is vast and consists of 5600 hectares. Because of that, this fabulous park is filled with marine and wildlife. So, you should not miss this place and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Visit Alicante

 

While you are visiting Spain, there should be no excuse to miss a visit to the city of Alicante. It is a gorgeous Spanish city and heaven for history lovers. Castillo de Santa Barbara

One place you should definitely visit is the city’s pride, Castillo de Santa Barbara, from which the photo above is taken. It is located at the “top of the city” 166 meters above sea level. This castle has been declared a national, historical, and artistic monument and houses over 1000 years of history. As well, it is probably one of the most known castles in Costa Blanca, because of its location.
